Daily Life
Seiichirou at work (TV series)Seiichirou's life outside of the End of Days is, compared to the other Ten no Ryuu and not a few of the Chi no Ryuu, comfortably average. He lives in Tokyo and has worked as an editor for Kadokawa Shoten for eight years, previously with novelists and now with the shoujo manga magazine "Asuka". Happily married to his wife, Shimako, the two have one small and extremely cute daughter, Yuka.

Not much is known about Seiichirou's past. His family is from Ise, in Mie Prefecture (on the southeastern coast of Honshu i.e. the main island). His father died when he was young, and though Seiichirou must have had at least one sibling at some point, the only other blood relation he has left besides Yuka is his nephew, Daisuke. When in school he used to stay up all night and so has no problems pulling all nighters for his job. He also tutored Daisuke a bit and dislikes his nephew's habit of skipping class.

Generally optimistic and in good spirits, it's hard to bring Seiichirou's mood down or make him mad. He likes to take into consideration the little things that make people happy, such as buying gifts for loved ones and enjoying nice weather. He does a lot of rushing around, especially where work is involved. Particularly susceptible to playful teasing, Seiichirou is easily embarassed and flustered; he tends to blush a lot. Howver, he knows when to be serious, and when the situation calls for it Seiichirou can be very focused. Nevertheless, he doesn't allow worrying, sadness, or regret get the better of him.

Seiichirou is pleasant conversation, if a little nervous around certain subjects (again with the blushing). But he's very willing to listen without partiality or judgement, and even if he doesn't understand he won't hestitate to offer comfort. Equally mature, well-mannered, even-tempered, and self-controlled, Seiichirou is a rare gentleman. He may not exactly be a badass, but it's no wonder why Karen is drawn him to the way she is.
